The
method of biological cultivation that has been applied for
more than twenty years in order to prevent the eolian erosion
of ashes should be accommodated to the new technology of
low-water transport and ash storage, regarding all of the
limiting parameters that have lately occurred.
The paper provides the results of preliminary tests done
on the samples of micro pollutants and available boron from
ashes that was stored in "Nikola Tesla" B Power-plant
in a classical way, as well as from the ashes stored within
the experimental ash disposal that included low-water transport
technology. The contents of boron is one of the main limiting
factors for the formation of the plant-cover.
The solution of the problem concerning the deterioration
of chemical features of ashes might be possible only by
applying certain agro technical measures, such as irrigation
and usage of fertilizers with lime or by choosing more tolerant
plants.
