| One
of the most modem hotels in the Republic of Serbia,
opened on the 1-st January 1983, hotel "Obrenovac"
overlooks the fertile Posavina plain at the confluence
of the rivers Kolubara, Tamnava and Sava. Obrenovac
is only 31 kilometres from Beograd. In the hotel there
are 268 beds in single and double rooms, 3 suites
and one de luxe suite. In all the rooms there are
bathroom, telephone and radio. In the suites there

The process of history, from the exhibits in the
richly endowed archeological museum in Milosev konak
(typical house XIX c. 400 m from the hotel) to the
commemorative plaques to the dead of the 1912-1918
war in the elementary school "Jovan Popovic" (400
m from the hotel) leads traveler to many monuments
celebrating the rich and heroic past of the war
of national liberation:
- the
memorial park "Jozica koliba" in the village Veliko
Polje where was founded the glorious brigade Posavski
odred (11 km from the hotel),
- Memorial
park (where lie the bones of the fallen) with
busts of national heroes, in the center of Obrenovac
(500 m from the hotel)....
