THE
JOZIĆ´S COTTAGE, VELIKO POLJE
The ecology house from the period of the Uprising
in Posavina, with an ecology garden and eight protected
oaks, which are over 200 years old.
It is one of the points at the Path of the Health
and Recreation.
The Mountain Recreation Ecology Society takes care
of it and gathers here every Fifth June, on the World´s
Day of the Ecology. |

This school building was built in the middle of the
19th century.

THE OBRENOVAC SPA
The main tourist potential of Obrenovac is a spa,
a source with many curative properties.
An official confirmation of the spa resort came in
1899, when an exceptionally healing sulfurous water
was confirmed. This water belongs to the hypotermed
group, with a temperature of 21°C.
It successfully treats for : chronic rheumatic disease,
neuralgia, chronic gynecology illness, liver and gall
disease, metal poisoning etc.
The building of the spa bathroom was built in 1885
in the spirit of the provincial architecture and represents
the gift of the former wealthy merchant from Obrenovac

THE RIVER-ISLAND, BARIČ
This is a river island wich is covered in thick, tall
woods, with the west part as an ideal sandy beach.
In the summer, during the low tide, the by-channel
is suitable for non-swimmers and children. |

THE
CHURCH OF THE MOTHER OF GOD´S SHROUD, BARIČ
It is built in 2003.
An exceptionally valuable old books from the 18th
and 19th century are conserved here, and so is the
iconostasis from the 19th century.
The oldchurch was constructed in 1874, and its belfry
in 1971. |

THE
HALL OF CULTURE AND SPORTS
Attractive building of the Cultural and Sports center
gives excellent conditions for those who go in for
indoor sports, and diverse cultural programmes. This
is one of the biggest sports hall in Serbia, with
2.000 m˛ of usefull space. The stands have capacity
of around 1.500 seats.
In the building of the Cultural and Sports center
there are also a beautiful theatrical and cinema hall,
capacity 700 seats, and a nice restaurant which can
serve over 150 guests.

SWIMMING POOLS
It is a complex of the indoor and outdoor pools that
belongs to the Public Company for Information of Obrenovac.
The water of the indoor pool heats in winter and the
temperature is 30°C. |

THE LOG CABIN CHURCH, ORAŠAC
The original church was built in the 18th century.
Next to church, Filip Višnjić, folksong singer, called
the rebels to struggle in 1809.
As a revenge, the Turks set fire to a church a few
years later.
It was renovated in 1895 and 1921 when the old appearance
was kept.
The iconostasis and furniture are characteristics
of the 19th century churches.

DUBOKO
It is the nature game reservation,which has an area
of 600 ha, and which is 200m height above sea level.
It represents the hunting ground and vacation area. |
